2 Month Check Up

We took Rachel to the doctor today. Her weight was 12 lbs 10 oz (90%), Length was 24 1/2 in (95%).  She got 3 shoots and one oral immunizations today.  She cried so hard that she wasn't breathing.  Just broke our hearts.  She is fussy tonight, of course.  Hopefully she will be able to sleep good tonight.  For the both of us I hope so.   The doctor said she was doing really good and was in great health.

Jack of all trades

My husband can do it all!!!  He is working on making our old game room into our new office for his business.  He has put up panelling on the walls and has laid VCT on the floors.  There is just a little bit of work left to be done.  Just a few finishing touches.

Take me out to the ball game!

Thanks to the advertising we have been doing with Valpak we were able to use the luxury box at a Manatee Baseball game.  We went Friday night to see them play against the Daytona Cubs, farm league for the Chicago Cubs.

This is the view we had from our box.  I have never been to a pro (or semi pro) baseball game.  If you are going to go, this is the way to do it.

Well, you know the summer night rain storms Florida is famous for?  We had one.  It only delayed the game about 1 1/2 hrs.  At least we were lucky enough to have the box to hand out in and stay dry.

This was a very great sight to see!

Time to start the game!!  Go Manatee's!!!

Growing

Rachel is 2 months old now.  She is growing like a weed.  She will go to the doctor on the 20th and we will see just how big she is.  We both believe she is the best baby in the entire world, that is a quote from Donnie, and we are so in love with her.  She has been enjoying spending time with her daddy during the day (if he doesn't have a job to do that day) and going to Granny's (Carol) if daddy does have to work.  Me, I don't get to see her during the day because I am back to work full time but I do try to come home or go to Carol's house on my lunch to spend some time with her. I have attached some pictures I took today.  Shows the many different sides of our precious baby.  I have tried for weeks to upload video of her but it never works.  I don't know if it is because I have a Mac or not.  I will keep trying and maybe use Donnie's computer.  It might work better for me.

For those of you that know me well you know what a big deal this is for me. I am going to the New Kids on the Block concert. Well, Tina and I are going. It will be just like old times. We LOVED this group growing up and we still do. I just got the tickets today. Our seats are not great but they are good! The concert is not until Nov 2 but I am so excited to be going. The countdown begins.
